Curriculum Depth
Our Curriculum Teams have worked in collaboration to design a knowledge based curriculum where key primary themes underpin learning. We have identified the conceptual and procedural knowledge, that we feel our pupils need to have acquired by the end of their primary years and have carefully organised our subject content to reflect this. We want our children to have a knowledge of the areas of the curriculum that are most relevant to them.
Our Curriculum Depth Maps identify the key curriculum content and key primary themes through components of learning to be taught in each year group. This enables key content to be taught, practised, revisited, applied and embedded both within a year and across key stages.
